Ingredients

* 2 lbs. Round steak or sirloin tips
* Salt & pepper ( to taste)
* 2 Tbsp. flour
* 2 Tbsp. olive oil (or other oil to your taste)
* 1 c. chopped onion
* 2 cloves garlic
* 2 4-oz. cans sliced mushrooms
* 2 c. water
* 2 Tbsp. A-1 Steak Sauce
* 1 c. red wine (I used Merlot in the photo)
* 2 tsp. beef bouillon

Directions

1. Trim steak and cut into small portions (tips or strips).
2. Salt, pepper, and flour meat.
3. Brown meat in oil.
4. Add onion & garlic, and brown slightly.
5. Add water, steak sauce, wine, boullion, and mushrooms.
6. Stir to loosen meat particles on bottom of pan.
7. Cover and simmer slowly 1 hour or until tender.
8. Serve with buttered egg noodles.
9. Note: just sprinkle the flour, salt and pepper over the meat. You could also shake in a bag. you don’t need to coat every piece.
