Ingredients

* Marinade:
* 4 medium sized grilling steaks (or 6 chicken breasts)
* 1 cup bourbon whiskey (Jack Daniels)
* 2/3 cup brown sugar
* 4 tbsp cider vinegar
* 1/3 cup soy sauce
* 2 tsp crushed garlic
* 1 tsp fine ground black pepper
* Sauce:
* 1 cup bourbon whiskey
* 2/3 cup brown sugar
* 4 tbsp cider vinegar
* 1/3 soy sauce
* 2 tsp crushed garlic
* 1 tsp fine ground black peper

Directions

1. mix marinade ingredients and pour over steak or chicken and let marinade for two hours or over night (even half an hour is fine if you don’t have time)
2. Before you start grilling your meat, mix sauce ingredients in a small pot or sauce pan, bring to a quick boil, and then turn the heat down and let it slowly boil for about 15 to 20 minutes. It should end up being about half as much as what you first put in the pot when it’s done. It should not be a thick sauce, it will be quite watery still.
3. Keeping the sauce on low heat to keep it warm, start grilling your meat until your desired ‘doneness’.
4. Place meat on plate with sides, and spood sauce over the meat.
5. Serve hot and enjoy
