Crockpot Pepper Steak

* 2 lbs top round, as for london broil, cut into 2 inch strips
* garlic powder to taste
* 3tbs vegetable oil
* 1 teaspoon or cube beef boullion
* 1/4 cup hot water
* 1 tbs cornstarch
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 2 large green bell peppers, roughly chopped
* 1(14.5oz) can stewed tomatoes, with liquid
* 3tbs soy sauce
* 1 tsp sugar
* 1 tsp salt(optional)
* 1 10 oz pkg sliced baby bella mushrooms…this is my addition..great..if i say so myself..lol
Directions
1. sprinkle stips of sirloin with garlic powder to taste, i also sprinkled pepper on them
2. in a large skillet over med heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips
3. transfer to slow cooker..i recommend using reynolds slow cooker liners..almost no cleanup
4. mix boullion with hot water until dissolved, then mix in cornstarch until dissolved
5. pour into slow cooker with meat
6. stir in onion, green peppers, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, sugar and salt
7. cover, and cook on high for 3-4 hours, or on low for 6-8 hours
