Pan-fried Steak With Marsala Sauce

Ingredients

* 2 lbs. beef chuck steaks, well trimmed
* salt and pepper to taste
* 2 cloves garlic, crushed
* 1/2 cup Marsala wine1/2 cup chicken broth
* 3 TBS. butter
* 1/4 TPS. dried rosemary, crushed

Directions

1. 1- Heat a large, heavy skillet over high heat for 2 mins., oruntil very hot. Season steaks with salt & pepper to taste.
2. 2- Place steaks in hot skillet and immediately turn down the heat to med-high. Cook for 4 mins. Turn steaks and cook for additional 4 to 6 mins., depending on your tastes. Remove steaks fron skillet to a platter and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm.
3. 3-Remove skillet from heat,. Quickly saute the garlic for 1 to 2 mins. in the skillet using residual heat. Return skillet to medium low heat ad Marsala and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and reduce for 3 mins.
4. 4- Remove pan from heat and whisk in butter and rosemary. Serve sauce over steaks.
