Salisbury Steak With Bacon

Ingredients

* 4 slices bacon, finely diced
* 1 1/2 pounds ground round
* 1/2 pound ground pork
* 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
* 1 tablespoon finely chopped green or red bell pepper
* 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, or 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

1. Mix bacon with ground round, onion, green or red bell pepper, parsley, salt, and pepper.
2. Shape mixture into 6 oval patties, about 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick.
3. Place patties on a broiler pan which has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
4. Broil about 4 inches from heat for about 10 minutes; turn and broil the other side for about 10 minutes longer, or until meat is no longer pink.
