Salisbury Steak With Mushroom Wine Sauce

* 1 lb lean ground sirloin
* 3/4 tsp garlic salt or seasoned salt
* 1/4 tsp black pepper
* 2 Tbl butter
* 1 (8 oz) pkg of button mushrooms, sliced or 8 oz of exotic mushrooms, sliced
* 2 Tbl sweet vermouth or ruby port wine
* 1 jar (12 oz) or 1 can (10 1/2 oz) beef gravy
Directions
1. Combine sirloin, garlic salt and pepper and blend well
2. Shape into four 1/4″ thivk oval patties
3. Heat a large, heavy, non-stick skillet over medium-high until hot
4. Place patties in skillet, cook 3 minutes per side until browned
5. Transfer to a plate and pour off any drippings
6. Melt the butter in the skillet, add mushrooms. Cook and stir 2 minutes. Add vermouth; cook and stir 1 minute
7. Add gravy, mix well
8. Return patties to skillet: simmer uncovered over medium for 2 minutes or until desired doneness, turning once and stirring sauce
9. Spoon sauce over patty to serve and sprinkle with a little parsley or chive
10. If skillet is medium duty, use medium heat
