Slow-cooked Elk Pepper Steak

Ingredients

* 2 lbs elk round steak
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 1 cup chopped onion
* 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1/2 tsp. salt
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon ginger
* 1 can stewed tomatoes
* 2 large green pepper cut into strips
* 1/2 cup cold water
* 11/2 tablespoons cornstarch
* cooked noodles or rice

Directions

1. Cut elk round steak into strips. Mix next nine ingredients in slow cooker. Add elk meat. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hr.. Combine the cold water and cornstarch add to crockpot, cook until thickened, about 15 more minutes. Serve over noodles or rice.
