Ingredients

* 6 large pieces bucket steak
* 4 TBS crisco, or to preference
* 1 envelope mushroom onion soup mix
* Salt and pepper
* 1 cup sour cream
* 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
* 3 TBS reduced sodium soy sauce
* 1/2 tsp. dill, optional

Directions

1. Mix sour cream, soy sauce and brown sugar and dill in mixing bowl.
2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
3. Melt the crisco in a large skillet.
4. Add the pieces of meat, sprinkle each side with soup mix, salt and pepper, brown well on each side. Remove from skillet onto brown paper or paper towels to drain, then place into 9×13 baking dish.
5. Cover meat and surrounding areas with sauce.
6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
7. Savor!
